Speyer The Romanesque Cathedral

This is an old church in the center square of the town. The bells sound every day for fifteen minutes and they are VERY LOUD. The doors are heavy and about six inches thick. The Cathedral was built between 1030 and 1125. The town was formed by the Romans in approximately AD 50.
